The U.S. Surgeon General has called on Americans to take action now to strengthen human connections to combat an epidemic of loneliness that is gripping our nation.
In our milestone 15th year, the DLE continues to rise to the top–by answering that call through our Crusade for Conversations. Since launching the Crusade in April, we have been taking intentional actions to raise our members’ awareness and ability to build social connections.
DLE members attending the June 9 DLE Culture Chat program participated in a quick exercise on ways to actively connect with others. In a moderated exchange, participants shared answers to the question: What is one action that you will take to strengthen human connections where you live or work?
