DLE VOLUNTEERS GET READY FOR FIFTH CLEAN SWEEP IN ANNUAL CLEANUP

For the fifth time, the DLE will participate in Downtown Pittsfield Inc.’s Annual Spring Cleanup on Friday, May 19. However, this occasion brings a first.

For the first time, the DLE will partner with another organization in combining volunteer crews to spruce up the downtown Pittsfield (MA) business district. Nearby business neighbor CompuWorks will join the DLE to field a volunteer sweep team in this fun-filled community service project.

Volunteers are welcome between noon and 3 PM. Similar to past events, you can register for a one-hour shift or stay longer–but you must alert us in advance. Contact dle@dulye.com if interested. DLE members Jacob Heath and Matt Belanger will serve as co-captains for the DLE/CompuWorks team, helping with advance coordination and communications.

The event is a great networking opportunity for meeting fellow DLE members as well as the CompuWorks crew. Additionally, hundreds of professionals from Berkshire-area companies and organizations participate–creating even more opportunities to make new connections. A bonus feature of the Spring Cleanup is a post-event awards ceremony at Hot Plate Brewing Co. after 3 PM.
