BREAKFAST CLUB PLANNING COMMITTEE GROWS BY TWO
November 3, 2021THANKS FOR YOUR ‘BEST OF THE BERKSHIRE’ VOTES
November 3, 2021Be a student forever! Those were words of encouragement from DLE Community Member and Inspirational Speaker Lou Alexander, who recently took to the podium as a guest of his alma mater, Syracuse University, to share career advice to undergraduates majoring in sports management.
The Los Angeles (CA)-based entrepreneur, who is the founder of BIG A88 JOGGER and a former NFL and Syracuse University football player, offered these strategies for stepping up in a career:
- Time to Value: What tasks, projects or efforts yield the best results and value for your future?
- Preparation, People, Results (PPR): Who are the people in your circle who could potentially help create new opportunities for you? How are you tracking your performance?
- You’ll Always Be a Student: Life is a journey. Keep learning as you go by studying another entrepreneur or company or even studying your own habits and tendencies as a way to keep getting better and reaching new heights.
Sums up Lou, “I had an amazing time sharing my personal experiences and my philosophies that have been shaped by those experiences.”
Before SU, Lou was a guest speaker at the DLE Breakfast Club! Catch the program video featuring Lou revealing how one question changed his life and career. Available now on the DLE YouTube Channel. Click here.
