June 12, 2024The May 13 DLE Meetup featured a lively conversation on the topic of Holding Yourself and Others Accountable. Participants broke into groups to share their experiences and ideas on three key questions:
- Do you find it hard to hold other people accountable? Why?
- In what ways do you act differently when you’re holding someone else accountable vs. yourself?
- What outcomes have you experienced from a lack of accountability by coworkers?
With the goal of staying connected over the summer, attendees made the decision to introduce the first-ever DLE Summer Read. The book–selected by the group–is Leading Without Power: Finding Hope in Serving People by Max De Pree. The next DLE Meetup, slated for August 26, will feature a discussion on the key themes of the book and their applicability in today’s workplace.
