DLE MEETUP TACKLES REPUTATION MANAGEMENT
November 21, 2023GOVERNMENT LEADERS GAIN UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE FROM DLE LISTENING SESSIONS
November 21, 2023Congratulations to longtime DLE member and volunteer program coordinator Alisa Costa for winning voter confidence in her first political campaign on Nov. 7.
Alisa joins the Pittsfield (MA) city council with her election day victory in the hotly competitive councilor-at-large race. Seven candidates–including political newcomer Alisa–vied for four at-large seats. She emerged victorious.
Alisa’s conversational and networking skills, which created many magnetic moments at DLE Meetups, Culture Chats, and other programs, successfully transferred to the campaign trail, where she spent countless hours meeting voters in person, listening to their concerns, and broadening her perspective.
As Alisa told the DLE HUB newsletter last April after announcing her candidacy for office, “I want to lift up the voices of residents so that they are heard beyond me … Government is at its best in conversation with people.” To read the full story, click here.
“The DLE community beams with pride over Alisa’s awesome accomplishment,” chimes DLE Founder and President Linda Dulye. “She has worked tirelessly and passionately to carve a new career path in local politics. We are excited to watch Alisa keep soaring as she builds connections between the city of Pittsfield and its residents.”
