PRIVATE SCREENING PROMPTS NEW POLL QUESTION
November 17, 2021IT’S A HYBRID HOLIDAY SEASON! HOW IS YOUR ORGANIZATION CELEBRATING?
November 17, 2021December 14 is a history-making day for the DLE. We will host our first-ever, private screening of a world premiere short film and a conversation with its creator, filmmaker Aleah Marrow of the DLE Advisory Board and Culture Chat Committee.
A truly special occasion—this virtual event features the first public showing of Wish Hill, Aleah’s eight-minute film.
The one-hour program starts at 6:00 pm ET and will serve up a conversation with Aleah about her major career shift—from professional tennis player to filmmaker, and how she adopted the roles of writer, director, producer and sole underwriter to advance a dream to the silver screen.
Wish Hill is a story of self-discovery. The eight-minute film tracks two young brothers, conflicted with life’s current chaos, who set out on a secret adventure to a place where wishes come true.
Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and share feedback about the film in an open, moderated conversation with Aleah, who is eager for her first audience reaction. She aspires to have her film accepted into the Berkshire International Film Festival.
This will be an exclusive event for DLE community members. To keep the experience intimate, attendance will be limited to 30. Register here to save your virtual seat. First come, first serve—so don’t wait.
