May 12, 2021SKILLS-BUILDING PROGRAMS FIRMED UP FOR MAY
May 12, 2021It was the focus of the latest DLE 10-Second Poll. YOLO SPIRIT! Since the pandemic hit last year, spontaneous transformations of careers and personal lives have been the mantra for many.
One of them is Lexi Aruck. A fast-rising leader at Anheuser-Busch, Lexi decided in late 2020 to radically alter her life and flex her YOLO spirit. She left her corporate job in St. Louis, moved to her home state of New York, bought a house and entered a Doctor of Chiropractic program.
As the guest speaker at the May 21 Breakfast Club, Lexi will discuss exiting her comfort zone and guide you to Channeling Your YOLO Spirit. Bring your coffee mug for this 7:00 am ET program, make new connections and hear Lexi recap the highs and lows of decisions that led up to a significant career change.
This fee-free program requires your advance registration. You can do so here. In addition to hearing Lexi tell her story of change and challenge, you’ll be treated to a 15-minute informal networking session during which you can swap favorite reads – think about your summer reading list. You’ll also participate in breakout discussions about the YOLO spirit.

About Lexi Aruck
Lexi is a full-time Doctor of Chiropractic student at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. She is a certified personal trainer and works for Forward Fitness, where she leads online group training sessions.
An alum of the DLE 2016 and 2018 Retreats and former DLE Advisory Board Member, she received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Social Welfare from Syracuse University. This led her to a five-year career with Anheuser-Busch in the Packaging, Quality Assurance and Innovation Departments. Her decision to leave her full-time job and go back to school was made mid-pandemic and stemmed from a choice to pursue something that fed her soul and nourished her spirit. It was not made lightly and came with unique challenges, but she stands firmly and proudly by that choice. Holistic wellness, movement, functional medicine and patient advocacy are now at the center of her professional goals.
Lexi enjoys life on Cayuga Lake with her boyfriend, their dog Chester and the newest addition to their family, a puppy named Norah. Aside from being on the water, they love traveling, trying new plant-based foods and finding any excuse to be outside.
