BRING ON THE BROOMS! DLE CREW PREPARES TO CLEAN UP PITTSFIELD
May 5, 2021CULTURE CHAT: LEADERSHIP BEYOND TITLES
May 5, 2021Assess your capabilities for working with and relating to anyone different from you with an international expert in Cultural Intelligence training at the May 25 DLE Ownership Workshop at 5:15 pm ET.
The spotlight is on inclusiveness and relationship building, assets in any position and industry, with guest speaker Kelly Pinar Goodwin, owner of Culture Savvy. Kelly will provide introspective exercises and tips to help you Dial Up Your Cultural Awareness in 60 Minutes.
“Every day we interact with people who are different from ourselves–whether due to nationality, ethnicity, generation, experience, or family subcultures,” explains Kelly. “These differences often create communication challenges, but by cultivating your cultural awareness and developing cultural intelligence, you can learn how to better understand and appreciate differences, understand people without stereotyping and strategize how to relate effectively with others.”
This interactive session will feature breakout sessions and a Q&A opportunity to discover and assess:
- your own cultural background
- how your background shapes how you perceive and relate to others
- how to develop awareness of other cultural perspectives in ways that improve your workplace and networking effectiveness.
Advance registration is required and is available by clicking here. Tickets are priced at $5 for DLE community members and $10 for non-members.
