ABOUT HARI KUMAR
Hari Kumar has built an impressive career around coaching corporate executives, account teams, and motivated professionals in diverse industries on practical techniques for effectively telling stories. As founder of Convivo, a Berkshire (MA)-based consultancy specializing in authentic communication skills training, he has coached sales teams at Slack, MathWorks, and other competitive organizations to achieve impressive revenue increases.
Hari brings 20+ years of expertise in training and facilitation across wide-ranging careers in both academia and the tech industry, with graduate degrees in engineering (M.S. Boston University) and communication (M.A. UMass Amherst). He has worked as an engineer, trainer, and sales storytelling coach at tech companies. In 2020, he founded VoPro Pros, a nationwide all-volunteer organization focused on voter protection, now more than 2,500 members strong.
Hari is an immigrant with routes and roots that include India, Yemen, Arizona, and 27 consecutive winters in New England. He is a volunteer with Berkshire Bounty, an active member of the 1Berkshire Youth Leadership Program Steering Committee, and serves on the board of the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires.
