November 20, 2024AT YOUR FINGERTIPS: 19 NEW CONNECTIONS TO EXPAND YOUR NETWORK
November 20, 2024Attendees at last month’s DLE Meetup felt an instant connection as they practiced fundamentals of improv during a lively in-person session designed to improve brainstorming, listening, and collaboration with others.
DLE member Jacob Heath, a Level 3 improv performer at Boston’s Improv Asylum, led a hands-on program that got everyone on their feet and stepping out of their comfort zones with the 8-Count Shake Out, Word Toss, the Michael Douglas, and Fortunately/Unfortunately improv exercises.
Four new DLE members forged great connections in a supportive environment, earning these accolades:
“Jacob was well-prepared to seamlessly lead the program. Everyone was on their feet, laughing, smiling, and interacting.”
“I thought Jacob had a lot of courage for pursuing this professional development on his own and then bringing it to DLE. It seems that improv has a lot of value in adapting it to the team environment in the workplace.”
“A different approach to being prepared for anything.”
