Inspired by the DLE’s participation in the May 17 Downtown Pittsfield Cleanup, the last DLE Poll probed how often members give back to their local community.

We asked: How many hours a year do you volunteer for community service events where you live?

True to the spirit of the DLE, poll results revealed an admirable commitment to help others. Every respondent gives back, with half indicating that they volunteer more than 40 hours a year. Here’s a look at the final tally.
