FROM THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL TO COUNCIL SEAT: ALISA COSTA BEGINS HER POLITICAL CAREER

Following her victorious political race for Pittsfield (MA) city councilor-at-large, longtime DLE member Alisa Costa was sworn into office on January 2. A political newcomer, Alisa announced her candidacy last April with a firm conviction to make a change in status-quo operations.

“When I didn’t like what I saw happening in my local government, I decided not to turn away. Instead, I leaned in to make the changes I want to see. I’m proud to have won the election, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of impact I can have on the City Council,” she shares.
