COACHING NEXT GEN LEADERS AT BERKSHIRE INNOVATION CENTER

Dulye Leadership Experience (DLE) President and Founder Linda Dulye and DLE member Anna Worley, systems engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems, recently coached 19 STEM scholarship winners at the 2023 BETA Program sponsored by the Berkshire Innovation Center in Pittsfield, MA.

BETA is an experiential learning program that connects high school and college students with businesses to explore idea development and business strategies. Linda and Anna’s workshop focused on communication and networking skills to help students confidently project their best, connect with others, and transition from their academic career to vocation.

The DLE has supported the BETA program since its inception in 2020, working closely with Assistant Director Kate Light on engaging next-generation leaders to see and seize opportunities for personal growth.

Kate shares, “I love having Linda and Anna at The BIC, and I enjoy watching them engage with the students. Understanding one’s value and having the self-awareness to project one’s best self is key when applying for jobs and/or post-secondary education. Teaching these concepts to the younger generation is crucial, as professional development and teamwork are key to getting hired and to having workplace stability and upward movement in the workforce.”
