All three reigned on Oct. 14 when a mighty DLE volunteer crew put brooms and dustpans into action for a community outreach project at the Downtown Pittsfield Cleanup.
This was the fourth DLE Community Service project supporting Downtown Pittsfield Inc. in the past three years, and the first time that members of the Berkshire United Way (BUW) teamed up to tackle the streets. “As they say, many hands make light work—and the sun came out! Was a pleasure to join your team. Thank you for letting us help,” chimed in Karrie Buratto, BUW’s marketing and communications specialist.
Thank you DLE volunteers Matt Belanger, Josh Brilliant, Ben O’Shaughnessy, Krystle Blake, Kyle Burks, Riley Burks, Kate Light, Kalee Carmel, Roger Gibboni–and from BUW Pam Knisley and Karrie Allen Buratto for giving back to help the DLE’s homebase of Pittsfield, MA move forward.
