DLE FILMMAKER’S SHORT FILM FEATURED AT LA FILM FESTIVAL

DLE Advisory Board member and filmmaker Aleah Marrow’s short film Wish Hill was featured in the Micheaux Film Festival this month. The festival, sponsored by Sony Pictures and the Oprah Winfrey Network, was held in Los Angeles and celebrates indie filmmaking.

Reflecting on her experience, Aleah shares, “Thank you Micheaux Film Festival for giving Wish Hill its first film festival screening. I’m honored, blessed and grateful for the opportunity!”

Wish Hill had a private screening in December 2021 during a special event with the DLE community that attracted a global audience. Since then, the film has been shown coast-to-coast.
