May 18, 2022DLE SHIFTS TO SUMMER SCHEDULE IN JUNE
May 18, 2022Three times really is the charm!
For the third consecutive year, The Dulye Leadership Experience (DLE) members teamed up to volunteer in the annual Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. Spring Cleanup Program –in Pittsfield, MA–sweeping up bags of debris and winning one of the event’s top team awards!
The Crushed Soda Can award for “the most energetic team and having the most fun” was earned through the collective enthusiasm of DLE volunteers Kalee Carmel, Michelle Lopez, Nick Russo, Joe DelSoldato, Matt Belanger, Carol Nati, Andy Howe, Nicole Mancivalano, Colette Hanlon and Matthew Keator.
Thanks goes to Downtown Pittsfield Inc. Managing Director Rebecca Brien and her mighty crew for organizing this year’s event, which attracted an impressive 26 teams of more than 150 volunteers. Appreciation also goes to event judges Roberta McCulloch-Dews, Noel T. Henebury and Tom Bernard for catching the glowing DLE spirit and commitment to community outreach.
In a Facebook post about the DLE crew, Roberta commented, “What an awesome show of community spirit. Thank you.”
“Great job to everyone involved. It’s nice to see how many teams came together to help benefit this great community,” expressed DLE volunteer Joe DelSoldato.
A special thanks goes to Berkshire business leader Steven Valenti for visiting our sweep team near his Steven Valenti’s Clothing for Men storefront and expressing his gratitude.
