ABOUT GUEST SPEAKER ELIZABETH HELLER
Elizabeth Heller is an ERYT-200 certified yoga teacher and mindfulness instructor, kids mindfulness expert, best-selling children’s book author, podcast host, mom and super-journaler! She began journaling in third grade. And four decades later, she is still going strong. Elizabeth has incorporated journaling into her instruction as a means to boost the emotional, behavioral and physical health benefits of mindfulness for people of all ages.
Elizabeth is the creator of the forthcoming Kids Super Journal (due June 2022), a research-backed mindfulness and journaling book that offers kids self-coping tools to manage feelings, improve self-esteem and self-confidence and meet all the challenges of the world now and into their future. She is also host and creator of the Kids Super Journal Podcast, now in its second season.
Elizabeth is the best-selling co-author of the Kids Book of Prayers About All Sorts of Things and the author/co-author of seven additional books for and about children. She spends her spare time creating new adventures for her classes, her Kids Super Journal community and her personal journey.
She has intensive training in mindfulness and yoga for adults and children, including therapeutic and trauma informed yoga, meditation and journal writing.
