HOW STALE IS YOUR OUTGOING MESSAGE?

The closing DLE Poll probed into phone etiquette and the freshness of our messages by asking the question, “When was the last time you updated the greeting on your voicemail?”

By a significant margin, poll respondents said not lately. 58% responded they have not changed their greeting in more than a year. Another 23% couldn’t recall when they had done so. 19% said they took action within the past six months to freshen their message.
